Thanks to slow mail delivery, I’m running a little behind on this review, so forgive me if it sounds rushes!
Frozen: the Songs, is a collection of the music from last year’s slam-dunk animated movie from Disney. It doesn’t feature every song from the soundtrack. In fact, there’s a 2-disc soundtrack for the die-hard fan. However, if you or your child likes a few of the songs, including the now-infamous “Let It Go,” this CD is affordable and does away with all the clutter.

Now, I had heard all of those songs because I’ve seen the movie. We’re probably familiar with “Let It Go,” and both the movie version and the radio single by Demi Lovato are on this CD. I’m also a big fan of “For the First Time in Forever” and the fun “Fixer Upper.”
This CD will bring you right back to the movie, and most of the songs are great for singing along. I actually really enjoy the movie version of “Let It Go” better than the radio version.
I don’t love all of the songs, of course. The one about reindeer will probably get the little ones singing and dancing along, but it’s just not my cup of tea. Of course, I’m not exactly the target demography, and my 11-year-old sister was more than happy to enjoy the tunes with me.
